Thinking About Your Retirement?
No matter what stage you are in your retirement planning, The Antioch District Library has the Retirement Planning Seminar for you. Join us at the Library at 757 N. Main Street in Antioch on July 27, 2024 from 9:00AM until Noon. We will discuss the primary considerations for retirement including:
- How and When can I get Medicare and how does it work, do I need supplemental coverage for it, when should I sign up and are there penalties for not signing up when I should?
- Can I have Medicare and still work?
We will answer all of these questions and cover many more about the Medicare program
Social Security will be covered including how to decide when you should take your benefits and how they are taxed. We cover what happens when you take Social Security and continue to work. An interesting part of the program is a discussion of what some of the experts say about the future of Social Security.
Retirement considerations concerning how to maximize your retirement income and the role of your Employers 401-K or other retirement plans at work as well as Annuities, Roth and Traditional IRAs.
The Seminar is conducted by Mike Dressendorfer who has performed voluntary teaching in several community programs. Importantly he is not selling anything and there is no charge for the Seminar.
Please call the Antioch Library at 847-395-0874 to register. We look forward to seeing you.
