Library Card Design Contest Begins

2024 Library Card Design Contest Rules

In continuation of our Summer Reading Program theme of "Community Matters", the Library will be hosting a Library Card Design contest that is open to the community.

"What does Community mean to you?" Show us with your art!

Create a design based around this theme and enter for a chance to have your design printed on one of three new limited edition card designs offered by the Library in the fall. There will be one winner per department (Children's, Teen & Adults).

Submitted designs will be reviewed and judged by volunteers from the Antioch Fine Arts Foundation. Each of our three winners will also receive one free class at the Antioch Fine Arts Foundation courtesy of the AFAF and the Antioch Library Friends.

Designs will be accepted July 1-15, 2024. Submissions received before or after this date range will not be entered. Only one submission allowed, per person.

Winners will be notified and announced the week of 7/22. Winning submissions will be highlighted in the Library’s fall 2024 newsletter.

For required design specifications, see Library Card Design Templates:

Electronic design submissions can be sent to publicrelations@apld.info.

Non-electronic submissions can be dropped off at the Library during regular service hours. If submitting a non-electronic format, please be sure to place your design in a folder or large envelope with a copy of the submission form that can be found below. Do Not Bend or Fold submissions.
