APLD Sessions In-Person
APLD Sessions, part of APLD Sounds & Stories, is an all-ages live music series that spotlights artists in an intimate, stripped-down setting. Each session features a raw, up-close performance paired with moderator-led conversation, inviting audiences behind the scenes of the music.
David Ford Lykins is an award winning singer/songwriter, and playwright, from Antioch, Illinois. His album “Blurry White Guy” was recorded in Nashville with members of Garth Brooks’ band and The Chicks. The single “Good News” from that album was voted “Best Song of 2008” On Radio Winschoten in the Netherlands. He performs throughout the Midwest as a solo act and with his friends in The Gypsy Moths.
