Graduated Tax Proposal/ Constitutional Amendment on the 2020 Ballot Online

There is a graduated income tax proposal on the November ballot that asks the voter to consider supporting an Illinois Constitutional Amendment authorizing the use of a graduated income tax in Illinois.  Currently, Illinois has a flat tax but is proposing a graduated tax similar to that used by the federal government.  A graduated tax  taxes people with lower incomes at a lower tax rate and a higher rate as your income goes up.  It taxes all people at the same rate.
