Try Your Hand: Hand Stiched Creation In-Person
Previously on Try Your Hand, we tie-dyed a piece of cloth. Now we are going to learn how to sew a pouch by hand complete with button! Join us as we learn how to sew this fun little pouch. If you did the tie-dye project, then you already have all of the fabric you’ll need for this project but we will provide you with all the other essentials needed in order to sew a pouch by hand. If you did not do the tie-dye project, we will supply the material as well. Sign up now and drop in to the Lower Reference Desk beginning January 27th to pick up your supplies. If you don’t pick the kit up by February 5th it will be made available to others who want to learn some simple hand sewing. Then on February 8th, the tutorial will be released on Facebook and YouTube so that you can make the pouch with us!
